The former “Laguna Beach” star who welcomed her first child Camden Jack with fiance Jay Cutler just two months ago has already lost much of baby weight!
The 25-year old actress hosted the ULTA Beauty “Donate With a Kiss” breast cancer awareness event at the James Hotel in New York City on Wednesday and shocked many with her slimmed down post baby body.
Cavallari was stunning in a black Rubin Singer cocktail dress and heels. So just how did she snap back to shape?
“I honestly can say I owe it all to breastfeeding. I read somewhere that it’s like running six miles a day. I know nursing is difficult for a lot of moms so it’s easier said than done. I eat healthy in general and I’m taking it easy in the gym and working out three to four days a week.”
But while Cavallari would like to give the majority of the credit to breastfeeding for her weight loss, friends suggest she’s doing “crazy” workouts with a trainer.
Despite her slimmer figure the new mom won’t be through until her body is bikini ready.
“I do want to tone up my stomach a little bit more. Trust me, if you saw me I’m not ready for a bikini, let’s just put it that way. I’m close, but I haven’t [lost all the weight].”
Meanwhile the elder Kardashian sister Kourtney is pacing her post baby weight loss journey. Kourt made it clear after giving birth to her second child, a daughter Penelope, three months ago that losing weight rapidly was not in her plans.
“I gained nearly 45 pounds. I’m 5 feet tall, so that’s a lot. When I’m here around the house, I just eat healthy.”
In addition to eating healthy Kourtney has added some beach workouts to her plan. After flying down to Miami with her family, son Mason, Penelople, boyfriend Scott Disick and sister Kim Kardashian to film “Kourtney and Kim Take Miami” she’s been hitting the sandy beaches for her workouts.
Last week she was spotted with two male friends doing lounges. Prior to that Kourt convinced younger sister Khloe to take a jog along the beach. Last week, Kim Kardashian, who admitted she needs to drop some pounds joined her older sister for a workout on the beach as well.
“I’m hoping to slim down a little bit, and I’m not afraid to say it,” said Kim in a recent interview. When not working out as the family, the Kardashians are enjoying the sights in Miami. Yesterday Kim and Kourtney took Mason and a young family to the Children’s Museum.
