First Chris Brown’s girlfriend Karrueche Tran laughed off Rihanna’s Oprah’s Next Chapter interview on Twitter with a simple ‘LoL’ then Chris’s mother chimed in..but with a few more words.

On Sunday night Oprah scored her second highest ratings with 2.45 million people tuning in to watch her pull out an emotional interview from the 24-year old singer. Of those millions was Chris Brown’s mother Joyce Hawkins. During the 60 minute clip Rihanan confessed to still loving Chris, rebuilding their friendship and getting butterflies whenever she sees him again.

“{We are} not seeing each other.” But the two have been “working on our friendship again, and now we’re very, very close friends. We built up a trust again. And that’s it. We love each other and we probably always will.”

Joyce’s response to the pop star’s confession?

“TELL THE TRUGHT AND SET YOURSELF FREE.”

“NOT UNTIL YOU TELL THE TRUTH WILL YOU EVER BE FREE!!!! PEACE SOMETIMES COMES WITH A PRICE”

“DID YOU SAY SOMETHING? DID IT HELP ANYONE?”

Yikes! Meanwhile Rihanna is trying to deal with other critics leaving hateful messages directly on her Twitter page. The singer posted a quote from Joyce Meyer’s book Starting Your Day Right to hush up the critics.

“Self-discipline is the mark of maturity” and “If you want to be free to truly enjoy your life, you must face the truth.”

Chris has of course remained silent about the interview but what do you make of his mother’s response?
