Eva Longoria’s unfortunate attempts at love aren’t making the gorgeous actress jaded. The Desperate Housewives’ star is developing a series with NBC helping everyday women find their dating mojo after love-gone-bad, according to The New York Post’s Page Six.
The petite actress has joined forces with celebrity matchmakers Steve Ward (VH1’s Tough Love) and Amber Kelleher, who owns an elite dating company, to give “All About Love” a different angle dating wise.
“It’s a concept she created,” a source said. “It’s designed to help real women get back into the dating pool. They’ve chosen single women and single mothers—women who have been through a series of heartaches and battles in life and have all but given up on finding one true love.”
Longoria, who withstood a painful divorce from NBA player Tony Parker, a two year relationship with Penelope Cruz’s younger brother Eduardo Cruz, and most recently enjoyed a rumored date with Prison Break actor Amaury Nolasco, doesn’t have the best love life, but that isn’t keeping her from helping others and herself find love. ‘All About Love’ goes into production next month.
Though the long-running drama Desperate Housewives will be coming to an end, Eva is ensuring her plate will be full. Besides her dating show in works, the gorgeous brunette is set to co-produce an ABC pilot, “Devious Maids” with Marc Cherry according to Deadline.
Based on a Mexican television format, “Devious Maids” follows four maids with ambition and dreams beyond working for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills. This show also goes into production next month.
